MARKET ALLOWANCEtemplates
Market Allowance programs are an arrangement between a franchise dealer and manufacturer to help supplement advertising costs by providing dealers with advertising dollars upfront on either a quarterly or monthly basis. The dealer must follow its marketing allowance guidelines and ad standards to be compliant in the case that their advertisements are audited. Cars.com is not responsible for marketing allowance compliance, guideline accuracies, terms, conditions, reimbursement, and/or changes to marketing allowance programs. Cars.com sales representatives do not contact manufacturers' marketing allowance departments; all contact of this nature must be initiated by the dealer. Dealers should consult their marketing allowance portal and/or agency for specific guidelines and requirements. The information on this page is provided as a courtesy only.
